Biography

I am a Senior Lecturer in ThermoFluids in the School of Engineering. I received my PhD (“Lattice Boltzmann Methods in Interfacial Wave Modelling”) from the University of Edinburgh in 1997. My research interests are in fluid mechanics and acoustics in areas such as blood flow, ultrasound, chemical mixing, water waves and acoustic-flow interactions. I have previously lectured at the University of New England, Australia; and worked on a number of research projects at the universities of Strathclyde, Edinburgh and Birmingham Aston.
