Summary

I am a Senior Lecturer in the School of Health and Care Professions. My primary teaching focus is on the BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science programme. In addition to my academic role, I work as a practising Paramedic with the South Central Ambulance Service, where I have been involved in research projects alongside a cross-university team of researchers and research enthusiasts since 2017.

Currently, I am enrolled in a PhD programme at the University of Portsmouth, concentrating on my key research interest in sepsis care, specifically the administration of broad-spectrum intravenous antibiotics for sepsis treatment within the UK ambulance service.

Research interests

My current research interests focus on the documentation and management of dementia care within the ambulance service, as well as the effectiveness of intravenous antibiotics in treating prehospital sepsis.
