Aspiring criminal barrister

Peter is an aspiring criminal barrister, delighted to offer insight from his recent (and ongoing) journey to the Bar.

Peter approaches law from a non-law background having first studied a BA in History and Politics at the University of York.

He then secured an MA in International Relations whilst studying at the University of Jena in Germany, with a semester spent at the University of Leiden in the Hague.

Upon completion of his law conversion degree in September 2023, Peter spent seven months working as a criminal defence paralegal in London, shadowing defence barristers in a complex fraud case.
