I am both excited and honoured to work with the University of Portsmouth and join the Entrepreneurs in Residence Programme. We are much stronger when we collaborate and I’m looking forward to supporting students and faculty members to access their full potential and evolve into the next generation of leaders.

Justin Farrance, Global Ambassador for DE&I, Allen & Overy | Founder and CEO, GROW Mentoring

Justin Farrance is a global ambassador for DE&I, Allen & Overy, but also the founder and CEO of GROW Mentoring.

Justin qualified as a corporate lawyer at international law firm Allen & Overy, specialising in Employment Litigation, before stepping into a new global role as the firm’s Ambassador for DE&I. 

Alongside this, Justin is the Founder and CEO of GROW Mentoring  – a charity launched during Covid, which now supports 5000 diverse students. The charity has scaled up fast to secure partnerships with 50+ global companies and institutions to provide mentoring, events and other opportunities for graduates. Some of the companies Justin has secured partnerships with include Amazon, eBay, Salesforce, NBCUniversal, Entain and Meta. 

Justin is an advocate and role model for the LGBTQ+ community, and has been recognised by the U.K Prime Minister for Social Impact, and has gone on to win McKinsey & Company’s global Achievement Award, and was named the #1 Future Leader in the U.K. at the British LGBT Awards. Justin has built a combined following across social media channels of 50,000 people.
