The University of Portsmouth's Centre for Business Resilience Inclusive Development Growth and Enterprise (BRIDGE) is pleased to launch a new series of Research Seminars, beginning with our Entrepreneurship and Innovation cluster.

“An assessment of AI readiness for the adoption of AI technologies in organisations”.

Dr Nigel Walton analyses the absence of an integrated AI readiness framework incorporating an AI adoption process.

This online seminar, relevant to both academic and practitioner audiences, will look at how oganisations have little in-house knowledge of how to evaluate their AI readiness and manage future adoption. Meanwhile, research on AI readiness and AI adoption is still in its infancy and needs developing further.

The researchers have developed an “Integrated AI Adoption & Readiness Model” to fill the research gap and help solve the problems of understanding the readiness and adoption stages that lead to successful AI implementation.
