22 min listen
Earlier this month, the UK hosted COP26, the UN’s Global Climate Change conference. Nearly 200 nations came together in Glasgow to discuss the next steps in reaching net-zero carbon emissions and limiting global warming to a target of 1.5 degrees Celsius.
In this episode, Professor Steve Fletcher reflects upon the outcome of conversations at COP26. He's joined by Professor Mark Gatterell and Dr Cressida Bowyer for their opinions and insights. Plus, we hear from visitors to the conference for their reactions and hopes moving forward.
