Your health and wellbeing matters to us
Discover the health and wellbeing services you can access when you study with us
Coming to university is exciting, but it can also be a challenge.
Big life changes like moving cities or starting university can impact your mental health, physical health and your wellbeing — so you'll have access to lots of support when you get here.
In regard to the extra help and support with uni work and student wellbeing, it was nice to know the Uni offered a lot of different services.

How we support your wellbeing
From the moment you start with us, our Student Wellbeing Service is on hand to provide personal and emotional support, mental health support and counselling. They organise workshops, courses and events throughout the academic year.
And, as we know living away from home for the first time can be daunting, you'll also have access to free confidential welfare support and advice from our Residence Life Team when you move into your university halls accommodation.
They manage the welfare and concerns of students living in our halls of residence.
Find out more about each of these wellbeing services on MyPort, our student site, below.
