Since the age of 15, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in music.
My goals were to be a great musician and music producer. I developed my skills as a musician, beat maker and producer in college; however, I knew I needed to develop my skills in the technical aspects of music such as engineering, sound design and the ability to record music at a higher standard. The Music and Sound Technology course at the University of Portsmouth provided the perfect opportunity to do so.
Throughout the course at university, I’ve grown exponentially, not only in the field of music but also as an individual.

Throughout the course at university, I’ve grown exponentially, not only in the field of music but also as an individual. My self-discipline and time management have improved drastically and I have the structure of the course and the support of the university to thank for this.
After graduation, I’ll work hard on becoming a successful all-round musician and an influential producer. I want to apply the new skills I’ve learnt throughout my time at university to my music. One of my ambitions for the future is to start a record label with the aim of adding more diversity into music and the music industry.
