What you'll experience
On this short course, you'll:
- gain comprehensive knowledge of the main grammatical, lexical and phonological features of standard English, and a deeper understanding of the main advantages and disadvantages of various language teaching approaches
- draw up a range of lesson plans with clear and achievable aims, using appropriate methods for learners with various needs
- find out how to provide a relevant learning environment and opportunities for learners in relation to their learning objectives
- evaluate, use and adapt published material and create teaching materials using the internet, visual aids, audio, video and ICT

Entry requirements
- An undergraduate degree, or equivalent qualification, in any discipline that shows evidence of sustained academic study.
- Applicants should have a minimum of one year teaching experience and be currently teaching while attending this course.
- Applicants must be 18 or over when the course starts.
Selection process
- Applicants will be required to take an admissions test.
- All shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview.
English language requirements
English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 7.0 with no component score below 7.0.
