Making an application can seem overwhelming so let’s break it down.
Take some time to browse our courses, accommodation, support services and explore what the city of Portsmouth has to offer.
If you’ve not had chance to attend an Open Day, don’t worry, you’ll have plenty of time after applying to visit us. Once you receive your offer, you’ll be invited to an Open Experience Day where you can discover why so many students fall in love with our city.

The application from is quite long but don’t worry, you can save and return to complete it at any stage. There are five sections to the application:
Personal Information: This includes your name, address and personal circumstances.
Education History: Here you enter your qualifications and your predicted or actual grades.
Employment History: Add any full or part-time paid work details here. Include volunteering or work experience placements in the Personal Statement section.
Course Choice: You can apply for up to five courses at up to five universities. Don’t worry about the order at this stage. You can select your firm and insurance choices once you receive your offers.
Personal Statement: This is your opportunity to stand out from the crowd. Visit our Personal Statement Hub for bags of advice, hints and tips.
Apply before 6pm, 29 January 2025 - but before you press submit, ask a family member, friend or teacher to proof read your application. Once submitted, you can track your application in the UCAS Hub.
