Why study Architecture?
Architects design buildings and play a role in shaping cities, communities and the way we live. Our BA (Hons) Architecture degree course helps you develop the technical and analytical skills you need to begin a career as an architect.
You could also consider roles in areas such as design practice, planning, historic building conservation and project management.
You can make the course suit you with the projects available – it taught me that there are so many ways to put your own style into design and many avenues to go down with regards to careers after university.
Emma Syme, BA (Hons) Interior Architecture and Design
Why study Surveying?
We offer a range of courses; Building Surveying, Property Development and Quantity Surveying.
Construction isn’t cheap. That’s why the skills of surveyors and developers will always be in high demand. Those advancing careers in Quantity or Building Surveying, and Property Development provide instrumental support to building projects of all sizes.
If you want to combine entrepreneurial thinking with professional acumen and a sought after skill set, surveying could make for a great career option.
One of the unique things about my course compared to other universities is the fact it is RICS accredited, which was surprisingly rare when I was looking at Property Development courses. This means it opens more doors in the future for me, as well as showing it’s a high-quality course.
Rob Milne, BSc Property Development
